À LA DOUCE MÉMOIRE DE Sardar Gurbans Singh Brar
With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Gurbans Singh Brar, on January 11, 2026. Born on August 1, 1947, in Panj Grain Kalan, Punjab, he lived a life rooted in dedication, resilience, and love for his family.
Gurbans Singh Brar spent the first half of his life as a Professor in Punjab, where he built strong foundations through hard work and taught valuable lessons to all his students. In 1999, he immigrated to Canada, continuing his journey with the same strength and determination that defined him throughout his life.
A devoted family man, he found his greatest joy in the well-being of his loved ones. His guidance, warmth, and steady presence shaped the lives of those around him and will be remembered with gratitude and respect.
He leaves behind his wife, his three children, and his six grandchildren, who will forever cherish his memory and carry forward the values he instilled.
Though his absence leaves a profound void, his legacy of love, strength, and humility will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His laughter, hugs and stories will be undoubtedly missed. May Waheguru grant him eternal peace and bless his soul with everlasting rest after he fought a long hard battle with cancer.
