À LA DOUCE MÉMOIRE DE Natalia Moldoveanu

A woman of remarkable intellect, Natalia earned her PhD in Chemistry and dedicated many years to meaningful research in Romania. and later at the University of Ottawa. Her work, her curiosity, and her commitment to learning were core parts of who she was. She loved flowers, long walks, and bathing in the sun during the warm summer months.
She was predeceased by all her brothers and sisters, including her most beloved sister, Domnita Georgescu-Moldoveanu. She will be missed by her beloved nephew Serban Moldoveanu (his sons Andrei and Bogdan), and their mother, Zina Moldoveanu, a valued friend to Natalia, and their families. Also missing her are beloved nephews Mihai-Petronius Georgescu and Mihai-Ion Georgescu and their families.

Dumnezeu să-i lumineze veșnicia!
Tanti Natalia was my father’s last surviving sibling. She and I helped my father, Dr. Mihail Georgescu Moldoveanu in his last days. He was one of the best Doctors of Internal Medicine in Romania and Professor at the Carol Davila Medical school. Tanti Natalia showed such care, love and compassion for him that it showed what a remarkable individual she was. She was intelligent and kind. She took us skiing in Poiana when we were kids. She will be missed. May God Rest Her Soul.
