À LA DOUCE MÉMOIRE DE Mark Maloney
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we share with you the news of the passing of Mark Maloney. He left us far too soon on August 19, 2025 peacefully in his sleep at the age of 58.
Son of Micheline Maloney and the late Victor Maloney, loving brother of Cynthia Maloney (Marc Dubé) and cherished uncle of Amanda. He also leaves behind many well loved cousins, aunts and uncles and friends.
Mark worked as a technical sales representative for 36 years. He moved to New Brunswick 5 years ago to join the company Groupe EP. Outside of work, Mark enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing golf, snowmobiling, watching football, and cooking.
Mark will always be remembered for his talent for story telling, his fun loving personality, kind and caring nature, and his quiet strength. He had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel seen and welcomed. His warmth was felt by friends and strangers alike, and his quick smile, laughter and kindness will remain part of the many cherished memories we now hold close. His loss leaves an unfillable space in the lives of all who loved him.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Road, Orléans, Ontario on Sunday, September 28th, 2025 from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the Heritage Chapel at 1:30 p.m., followed by a reception with light refreshments.
There will be a private ceremony and interment in the St. Malachy Cemetery, in Mayo, Québec later this fall.
A special thank you to the Cobbs Funeral Home and Cremation Centre and David Farrow of New Brunswick for their care, guidance and support.
For those who wish, please consider a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

So sorry for your loss. It has been years since I saw Mark but I have many many wonderful memories of growing up on Applegrove Court playing street hockey, playing hours of ping pong in your basement, snowmobiling in the church field, go-karting around the neighbourhood and playing board games on your front lawn with Mark. Such a wonderful time and Mark was very much a big part of making those times wonderful. My sincere condolences. Mike Thibodeau
Dearest Cynthia, Mrs. Maloney and family, Wishing you comfort and peace during this time of loss. Much love to you all 🙏♥️
Dear Cynthia – I wish I’d known Mark, but your beautiful description and photo make me feel like I did. I’m so sorry for your loss.
Dearest Micheline and Cynthia, Our deepest condolences…Mark was a wonderful friend to both of us. He will be missed by many here in Moncton. Even though he had only been here a few years, he made many friends through his visits to the PumpHouse. The Friday night « after work » crew began to extend to golfing games on the weekend. Mark was always kind, thoughtful and shared with us how much he loved you both and his niece Amanda. He was so very proud of her. We will cherish the look of joy on his face when he told us about your week together here in the Maritimes. Through Mark’s passing we were able to get to know you, you are both amazing, strong women and we are blessed to know you. Sending warm hugs and positive thoughts during this difficult time. With love & light, Paulette and Donnie
