À LA DOUCE MÉMOIRE DE Kirpal Kaur Deol (“Biji”)
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Kirpal Kaur Deol, affectionately known as Biji, on October 23, 2025. Born on July 1, 1928, Biji lived a long and meaningful life surrounded by the love of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A simple woman with a generous heart, she asked for nothing but the happiness of her family. She was the pillar of our family, the foundation upon which generations were built. Her warmth, strength, and selflessness will forever guide us.
Biji leaves behind a tremendous legacy of love and unity. Her absence will be felt deeply every single day, but her spirit will continue to live on through all those whose lives she touched.
May Waheguru keep her in his eternal peace and bless her soul with everlasting rest.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Rd., Ottawa (Orléans). The ceremony will begin at 2 PM, followed by Ardaas, Guru Ka Langar and Bhog ceremony at 4 PM at Ottawa Sikh Society Gurdwara. All who knew Biji are welcome to join the family in remembering a life well lived and a woman deeply loved.
