Anita Michaud passed away peacefully at the age of 95. She was dearly loved throughout her long life and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Anita is lovingly remembered by her sons, Gregory Nurse and David (Jocelyne) Nurse and by her daughter, Donna (John) Maraston. She was predeceased by her siblings Cliff, Leo, Gaetanne, Simone, Adrianne, and Wilfred, who she now joins in rest.
A devoted mother, Anita was a guiding light for her children, whose lives were shaped by her humour, patience, and unwavering love. Though small in stature, she had the heart of a lion, meeting life’s challenges with quiet strength and courage.
Anita (Nana) will be forever cherished in the hearts of her grandchildren Candace, Ken, Elizabeth, and Nico. She will also be affectionately remembered by her ex-husband, Wilfred Nurse and his sister Gloria.
Anita’s life was a blessing to her family and her presence will live eternally in our hearts and minds.
A private service will be held at Paroisse St-Joseph d’Orléans at a later date.
She was a friend for many years. She was always kind and loving. 🥰 I am glad that she had a long and peaceful life journey. Look kindly upon me from afar.

Sending our condolences. Mom & I have fond memories of Tante Anita’s visits to Pennfield to see her sister, my nanny, Imelda Palk. She was a little firecracker who was always quick to share a laugh or a warm hug. May you find comfort in the wonderful memories with her. Rest in peace Sweet Tante Anita.
