To John’s Family:
Andy and I were sad to read of John’s passing yesterday.
We knew and dealt with John many times at Surgenor’s; where he would tease – look at Andy and say « oh no, not you again’; then spy me and say « what can I help you with today Leverne?:
It was our running little joke for no matter who approached John, he always made sure any situation was appropriately resolved.
We have missed seeing John at Surgenor’s.
Our sincere condolences to all.
Sincerely, Andy and Leverne Vallee
Eva and claude sorry to hear of John’s passing a great friend
Our condolences to family
Fran and all of John’s family, please accept our deepest sympathy on John’s passing.
He was a great guy and spending time with him was always enjoyable; even when he was chucking abuse at my Ford truck. A few years ago when he was working for Joe, he was driving back and forth in front of our house, I was cleaning my garage and had pulled my truck and trailer out to sit on the shoulder of the road. About his third trip past he had to stop. You know, if you put a $100 bill under the wiper someone might take that away for you.
Our pilgrimages with John & Gerry to the Plowing Match were always memorable.
Rest in peace John. You’ll be missed.
Sorry to hear of John’s passing. I first met John at Surgenors when I was a GM Rep. Over the following years at we would see each other at auctions, fairs and visits to his home, He had a great smile and sense of humor. Kent Dunfield – Riverview NB
