À LA DOUCE MÉMOIRE DE Violet Monica Taylor

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mum, Violet Monica Taylor, on December 27, 2025, at the Ottawa General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Violet leaves behind her family in her home country of England including her sister Carla and her brother Gerald, and many family relatives including nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will remember her warmth and kindness.

She is survived be her five children: Kim (Ann), Caroline, Andy (Colette), Shelley, and Moirae (Larry). She was a cherished grandmother to James (Lori), Cameron (Sara), Benjamin (Stephanie), Katie, Grant, Liam, and Claire, and a proud great-grandmother to Nevaeh, Ocean, London, and Brodie.

She will be deeply missed, yet we find comfort in knowing she is reunited with her beloved husband, Douglas Taylor.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the medical staff at the Ottawa General Hospital and St. Vincent Hospital for the compassionate care they provided during her stays.

A Chapel Service will be held at the Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Road, Orleans, Ontario on Friday, January 16th at 1:00PM, followed by a Celebration of Life from 2 to 4:00PM. For those not able to attend the Chapel Service in person, the service may be viewed at the following Livestream Link.

In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made to St. Vincent Hospital.
