À LA DOUCE MÉMOIRE DE Sharon Claire Brouwer
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Claire Brouwer (McFall) on September 30, at the age of 66, surrounded by her loving family.
Sharon was the devoted wife of Rob Brouwer, and loving mother to Reece (Victoria) and Spencer (Jaslyn) Brouwer, who were the light and purpose of her life. Sharon’s love for her children knew no limits, and she instilled in them the determination and strength that defined her own life. Sharon is predeceased by her parents, Claire Denise Lavoie and John Reginald Mervyn McFall, as well as her dear brothers James “Jimmy”, Brian, and Steve McFall.
Sharon will be remembered for her unwavering strength, resilience, and the deep love she held for her family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th at 1:30 p.m. at the Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Rd., Orléans, with a celebration of Sharon’s life to follow until 4:30 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and honour of her life. For those not able to attend the service in person, you may join the livestream.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Ottawa General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.
For those wishing to do so, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Sharon’s memory.

Mario, Samara, and I are deeply saddened by Sharron’s passing. She was such a wonderful person, and she will truly be missed.
We will always remember the many evenings with her in Florida — at “the lobby” around the firepit, the chats, and the countless laughs in the “Sharron-approved” warm pool.
Our deepest sympathy and love go out to her family during this difficult time. Please know you are all in our hearts and prayers.

Dear Shar,
My fondest memories of my childhood were with you. You were like my other sister. We had so much fun playing with our Barbies, signing, riding our bikes and doing odd jobs for your mom so we could go to Belmont Park and so many other things. My parents thought of you as their third daughter. You brought some much love and joy into our lives. You will be deeply missed in our hearts 💞.
Love
Rose

I am blessed to have had a very special and dear lifelong friendship with Sharon. An unbreakable bond.
I could probably write a book on “The Adventures of Shar & Car” a.k.a. Thelma and Louise, although I don’t think we ever agreed on who was who.
I’m going to miss her like crazy, a void never to be filled. Forever in my heart.
Rest in peace my friend. I’m sure your Mom, Dad, and your brothers are happy to see you in heaven.
I love you, Car 💕
