In Memory of Paula Findlay
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paula Findlay. Paula died in the early hours of Friday November 7th, surrounded by her family.
Predeceased by her loving husband David Findlay and sister Deborah Smith, Paula leaves behind daughters Stacey (Brent), Daphne (Blaine) and Shannon (Brian), grandchildren Hayden and Morgan, sister Pam Lafrance and brother Bruce Trethowan, as well as her two loyal dogs.
Born in Ottawa to Vera (Dale) and John Trethowan, Paula was the oldest of four children. She will be remembered for her sharp wit, dry humour, and a love for animals that kept the house and barnyard full of pampered pets throughout the years. She will be dearly missed.
Special thanks to the community palliative care team whose dedication in her final days were greatly appreciated
A celebration of life for family and friends will be held Friday November 28th at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Road in Orléans, from 12-3pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in her memory.
