In Memory of Nancy Lee MacDonald

In loving memory of Nancy Lee MacDonald. Nancy passed away peacefully while surrounded by family at the Montfort Hospital on January 20, 2023. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Eddy Nylund. She was a loving mother to Jenny MacDonald and Eric Nylund (Melanie) ; grandmother to Kyle MacDonald (Tori Burton), Kaylee Elliot, and Pearson Nylund and great-grandmother to Kalem and Kingsley. She leaves behind her siblings Faye (Harry) Ruffer, Francis MacDonald, Debra (the late Ted) Kociolek, Ron (Marijan) MacDonald, Richard (Joelle Pilon) MacDonald, Joanne (Dan) Rochon, and Peter MacDonald. She was predeceased by her mother Margaret Hall, her father Ronald MacDonald, and her sister Jane Carpentier-Guizzo.

Nancy enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends and she was always open to new experiences. She was fond of country music, especially the late Conway Twitty and Reba McEntire, and of course Blake Shelton. She was always ready to dance and snap her fingers to a great tune. She was generous with her time when it came to her grandchildren whether it was to listen to them, offer advice or play games.

Remembrance donations to the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre will be gratefully appreciated by the family.

Condolences

I have not seen Nancy in a long while but I do remember her well. She was tiny but spunky. She and your family would come to the farm with your parents to visit. Those were visits that all of my family looked forward to having with our city cousins. Sending prayers and hugs ♥️
