In Memory of Maryln Norma (Dahms) Luffman
Maryln Norma (Dahms) Luffman passed away January 24, 2026 at the age of 81 after a lengthy illness. Maryln was born in 1944 in Clarendon, QC to Alfred and Veulah (Walls) Dahms who, along with her brother Alfred Dahms, Jr., preceded her in death. She had lived in Ottawa since 1985. Maryln was survived by her loving husband of more than 62 years, James (Jim), her sister Viola of Ladysmith, QC, her two sons James and Robert and their wives Susan and Ingrid, her four grandchildren Michael (and wife Autumn), Jennifer (husband Cameron), Benjamin (wife Rosie) and Sydney (husband Connor), and by her two great-grandchildren Solomon and Charlotte.
Having lived in the Ottawa area in her youth, Maryln married military man Jim at age 19. The family lived happily on military bases in Trenton, ON, Cold Lake, AB and Chatham, NB before returning to Ottawa when her boys were done with high school.
Service for Maryln will be held at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Road, Ottawa (Orleans) Ontario at 1PM on February 20th, 2026.
