In Memory of Mario Imbeault
February 12, 1969 – February 15, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mario Imbeault, who left this world on February 15, 2025, just days after his 56th birthday. Mario was a man of immense kindness, thoughtfulness, and love—qualities that defined every part of his life and left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Above all else, Mario was a devoted father to his beloved daughter, Andréa. She was the light of his life, and his greatest joy was watching her grow, supporting her dreams, and sharing in life’s precious moments with her. His love for her was boundless, and he took pride in every step she took.
Mario had a heart that welcomed everyone with warmth. He was the kind of person who would go out of his way to help others, always offering a listening ear, a reassuring word, or a gentle act of kindness. He had a deep appreciation for the simple joys in life—a heartfelt conversation, a shared laugh, or time spent with family and friends. He loved the Dave Matthews Band but unfortunately, he was also a die-hard Leafs fan.
Though his time with us was far too short, the love he gave and the goodness he spread will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will forever be cherished, and his spirit will continue to shine through those he loved.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19th from 6-9pm at Munro Morris Funeral Home located at 114 Main St. S. Alexandria. A private celebration of Mario’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor his legacy by showing kindness to those around you, just as he always did. In spirit of this sentiment donations would be welcomed at Carefor Hospice in Cornwall. https://carefor.ca/donate-now/
Rest in peace, Mario. You were truly one of a kind, and you will be deeply missed.

Mario, have a nice ride my friend.
I’m blessed to have known you my friend, that goodness you brought into my life when we became friends all those years ago, which only grew stronger as we became friend.
The only person I knew who could vomit and have a conversation while walking home from the pig’s ear and make seem like a minor distraction, that took talent, lmao.
The talent you showed in tasks that you did, which reflected how you became a successful guy.
I’m gonna miss you man.
Love your brother from another mother Brian”blackman” Denis
P.s your bike is warming up.

“Rest in peace, Mario. It was always a pleasure to know you and to have the chance to cut your hair. You were a kind and gentle soul, and I’ll always remember our chats. You will be deeply missed, especially by your beloved Franca, who loved you unconditionally and thought the world of you. My thoughts are with her and all who cherished you during this difficult time.”
Dear nephew you will greatly be missed
RiP 🙏 Mario
Your kindness touched so many . You loved your beautiful, kind , and generous ❤️ Partner whose name is Franca Pedulla but ironically she’s not mentioned in your obituary after all the years you spent together. We all know how much you loved each other. No one can erase that. You will take that Cruise you planned with Franca in heaven.
I miss you already brother. Have that bottle of Dalmore Single Malt 45 years, but leave a little bit for me.
We spent many hours watching our kids, learn, play sports, and enjoy the great outdoors. He was always so proud of his Drea! He cared about all the kids! Always encouraging.
So sorry to hear of his passing.
We are heartbroken here in Oro Medonte. Mario was the best back door neighbour. We met through the hedge when his dog Jesse and our dog Bear took turns visiting each other’s yards. We cooked together, made pickles. perogies, and had lots of yummy drinks. Oh and sometimes there was wine! If I listen hard enough, sometimes I can hear your voice as you came across the backyard. You would say “What the hell are you cooking- it smells so good and I could smell it at my house!” We always had such fun in the backyards or at the beach. You were family and we have missed you so much. Rest in peace friend until we meet again. Love Rosie and Mark
Its only goodbye for now my sweet nephew , we will meet again . Your forever in my heart RIP
Dear Mario l thought of you oftenfor the past few months. I send my condolences to your family at this sad time❤l remember how you were for Dad when we lost him now l hope you get to have a beer together RIP my friend you will be missed😰❤
Mario and I were always very close and he was truly a generous and kind soul. From building forts to hanging out at the old Port Theatre watching Saturday matinees with Danny we really enjoyed being young and spending countless hours exploring Cornwall and the freedoms of life way before the days of the internet. I cherish my youth with him and he is the closest I’ve ever gotten to a brother. It saddens me that life is unfair and wonderful people go too soon. Mario and I managed to text a lot in the last few months and his positivity and acceptance of the phase of life we will inevitably all have to face will resound with me until my turn comes. May you reunite with Monique and Jacques and Grand-mère and all who went before my dear cos, please send us all your love from above and know you will never be forgotten. As Billy Joel sang and we used to listen to so many years ago on AM radio ONLY THE GOOD DIE YOUNG. XXOO
Our thoughts and prayers are with Andrea and Danny. You will be sadly missed by many but rest now my friend.
Dear Mario – Rest in Peace my friend.
You were a super great guy when I first met you in 1987 and it sounds like you hadn’t changed a bit. Our time together at SSFC was only a few years, but such great memories from those years. My favourite was when your dad came to visit and we gave him the Copperfield dance bar experience.
You left this earth too soon & will be missed by many. Rest In Peace.

You will always be remembered Mario. We’ll see you later my friend.
May the happy memories you shared one day bring peace and comfort, replacing the sadness in your heart. Our deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. May your soul rest in peace, my dear cousin – until we meet again.
Andrea played hockey with my two kids in Guthrie. Everything written here is true in my opinion. He was a very kind man and, yes, he was truly devoted to his daughter. My thoughts and condolences go out to you Andrea.
