In Memory of Luigi Aiello
Luigi Aiello of Orleans peacefully and surrounded by his family passed away on April 29,2026 at the age of 71 years old.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years Louise; children Marie-Louise (Jeff) and Christopher (Melanie); grandchildren Jordan, Sydney, Jax and Lily as well as numerous relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Salvatore & Luisa.
Luigi will be remembered by everyone he knew for his sense of humour, relaxed demeanor and willingness to chat with anyone. Family meant everything to him and he cherished his time with them.
A celebration of life will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on May 14,2026 at the Heritage Funeral Complex 1250 Trim Rd, Orleans, ON.
In lieu of flowers the family would prefer Memorial Donations made in Luigi Aiello’s name to Diabetes Canada.
You will be miss.

I had the privilege of being Luigi’s Nurse recently when he had cataract surgery. He was a sweet, kind man who talked about how he adored his family. He was proud and strong and never would complain about anything. He was funny, positive and charming. Such a beautiful soul taken too soon. He will be missed and has left a huge void in this world. Heartfelt condolences to Melanie and the family who grieve this enormous loss. Thank you Luigi for being an amazing person and truly making this world a better place 🙏🏻❤️
Luigi you will be missed at Cruise night on Tenth line. I’ll miss joking around with you. We have know each other for over 40 years. Gone too young my friend , hope we meet again

I remember getting to know Luigi during his Capital Food days. We had some good chats outside his truck. He was so proud of his family and always had a good joke to share. Years later my daughter Melanie married his son Chris!!! My condolences to Louise, Marie, Jeff, Chris, Melanie and the grandkids.

Luigi was like a teddy bear—always so kind and friendly. He will always be remembered for taking the time to chat with everyone and for the warmth he brought into these everyday moments.

My condolences to Aiello family. I’m sure gonna miss him, I’ve known Luigi going back approx 67 years since 1959/60 in kindergarten at St. Anthony’s, St. Agnes & Commerce High School when we graduated in 1973/74, also gonna miss catching up with you at PDO MaLL 4coffee and having a good laugh there.
