In Memory of Gerald Glasgow
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald “Ginston” Glasgow, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, who departed this life on September 9, 2025 after a brief illness. He was 82 years old.
Born on January 23, 1943 in St. Lucia, Gerald, shared 41 beautiful years with Nessa, his soul mate and steadfast companion. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, resilience, and deep love.
Gerald was known for his honesty, hard work and sharp wit. He loved country music especially Jim Reeves and was a passionate fan of the Toronto Blue Jays.
He leaves behind his wife, Nessa, his children, Cornelia, Josephine and Michelle, and stepchildren, Fabian and Gregory. Also left to mourn are his 7 grandchildren: Nardy, Tasha, Aldy, Deanva, Denus, Ginelle and Ghaner and his 2 great grandchildren. His siblings, Mary, Langford, Helen, and Francess also mourn his passing as do his nephews, nieces, cousins, godchild and in-laws who will carry his memory forward with love and gratitude. He was predeceased by his mother, Gladys, his brother, Leonard, and sister, Marie.
Though his time with us was cut short, the impact of his presence will be felt for a lifetime. A service will be held at Heritage Funeral Complex on October 11th, 2025, at 12 pm (noon) with a reception to follow.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
