In Memory of George Pothier

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of George Pothier, on Sunday, November 8th, 2020 at the age of 81.

Beloved husband of Nicole Bélair. Loving father of Claude (Chantal), Éric (Andrée), Denis (Patricia) and Mélanie (Steve). Cherished grandfather of Martin (Caroline), Giacomo, Lorie, Jessy and great-grandfather of Jacob. He will be sadly missed by his sisters : Dorothy (Roger), Francis (Armand), Diane (the late Edward) and Yvonne (the late Fred) ; his brother Thomas, as well as many nephews, nieces and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents George and Marie Pothier ; his brothers Donald (the late Betty), Mike (Anne) and Daniel, as well as his sisters Helen and Caroline.

The family wishes to sincerely thank Dr. Natalie Mills, the staff of Camilla Gardens, as well as Marie-Josée from Bayshore Health Services for their exceptional care and compassion.

A private ceremony for intimate family will be held.

In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to the Parkinson Society would be appreciated.
