In Memory of Genevieve Beliveau

Peacefully and surrounded by her family, Genevieve Beliveau (McCraw) passed away on October 22nd following a lengthy battle with cancer. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 26 years, Greg. She was a proud mother to her two children, Gavin and Erin. A dear sister to Steve, Liane (JC), and Lori. A dear sister-in-law to Cindy (Don). She is leaving behind many nieces and nephews. Daughter to Kathleen Maloney and predeceased by her father Lane McCraw.

Gen was strong, thoughtful, and selfless. She lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; spending time with family, chatting with friends, reading a good book and sitting by the fireplace with her dog, Charlie. While we are saddened by her passing we celebrate her life and appreciate the time we had with her.

Friends and family are invited to the Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Road, Orléans, on Wednesday, November 5, 2025from 12-2 p.m. A Memorial Mass will take place at 2 p.m, followed by a reception.

In memoriam, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in her name.

My heart goes out to Greg, Gavin, Erin and family during this difficult time. Please know that Genevieve’s kindness, resilience, and positive impact will never be forgotten.

With deepest sympathy,

I offer my deepest condolences to Greg, Gavin, Erin and his family. She showed strength, dedication and love during this very difficult struggle with cancer.
May her courage and love be a source of comfort..
Love
Joseph

Our fondest memories of times with Gen were when we visited family in Ottawa. My children remember Gen as fun loving and playful as they enjoyed a happy time all together with her siblings at their home in Touraine. Another occasion was when Gen, her Mom, Dad and brother came on a holiday to Powell River, here in B.C. We’re grateful, never to forget having had those precious times of family togetherness.
I’m very proud of my niece, Gen, who was kind, warm, a good and brave soul to be admired. She will forever be near and dear to my heart.
Sincere Condolences, with Prayers and Peace to Greg, Gavin, Erin, and to all Gen’s family and friends,
Love
Aunt Colleen,
Cousins, Warren, Julie, Angela & Janet
