Dearest Derek, not aware that during our last yearly cousin weekend would be the last time seeing you. I cherish that weekend with all my heart and I will never forget our moments together and put these in the memory box. So long my friend.
I will miss you Derek, With lots of love 🌹♥️, cousin Mark
Dear Derek,
It was a great shock to hear that you were suddenly no longer with us. You were my cool and kind cousin from Canada, someone I carry deeply in my heart. I am incredibly grateful that you visited the Netherlands two years ago and again recently. We shared beautiful conversations and laughed so much together. Over the past two weeks, I have seen many photos and videos of you, and they brought back so many precious memories.
One very special memory of you is our wonderful camper trip that we took together with Mark, Danielle, and your parents. Your father took that photo of us somewhere along the way — a moment I will cherish forever.
Dear Derek, I will miss you dearly.
With much love and a big hug,
your cousin Sander from the Netherlands
I remember Derek from grade school and high school. He was always kind, had a great laugh and sincere. A really nice guy. My deepest condolences to your family. RIP
