In Memory of Denise Murrielle Cyr-Delfino
Denise Murrielle Cyr-Delfino of Ottawa, passed peacefully at 10:15 p.m. on January 20th, 2026. Loving mother of her son Connor, and her two step children, Robin and Christian. Cherished daughter of Albertine and Laurent Cyr. Dear sister to Laurent Jr. and Diane. Denise was a caring mother who always put her family first. Although she was predeceased by her husband and love of her life Brian Delfino, she did everything that she could for her son and made sure he had a good life. Known for her wicked sense of humor, Denise loved to watch movies with her dog Lord Byron and go out for breakfast with her son Connor. A Chapel service will be held for family members on February 22nd, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Rd., Orleans, On, K4A 3P7. In memoriam, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society are appreciated.

Denise my beautiful, fiesty and funny friend, I am extremely sad to hear of your passing. My sincere condolences to Connor, Christian, Robin and most importantly to your mom Bert, your brother Larry + his family plus your uncle Omer + Lucie. You will not be forgotten. I have plenty of pictures from our trip with Connor to the east cost in Halifax + Cape Breton and dinners over years with your family. Can’t forget about our trip down to Windsor to meet my family + friends nor taking you to Burton Cummings concert whete you also met my niece Suzie McNeil who was the opening act. You will be missed by all who knew you. We can take comfort knowing you reunited eternally with your late husband Brian, father Larry and sister Diane. Rest in Peace Denise and save us a seat up there in Heaven until we meet again.
