Condolences

Bob truly was a great friend and our friendship was truly for many many years. Our kids affectionately called him “Uncle Bob”. We traveled the journey together that saw us golf, curl, and learn life lessons together. He was instrumental in getting me interested in computers and it has become a life long passion. We know today he has fought the good fight, he has been faithful to his Lord and Saviour and today he has received his heavenly reward, well done my friend, until we meet again!

Our condolences to all, but especially Karen. Your Dad was a great friendly neighbour!!! Now he is with Nancy!

My condolences Karen and to all your family. Your father was such a wonderful man. So kind. He will be missed. Heaven has a new angel.

We will remember Bob with great affection. A gentle manner and a great sense of humour characterized this kind and caring man. Bob enriched the lives of all who knew him, and he was a great support to those of us experiencing difficult times in our lives. It was a privilege to have known him. May he rest in peace.

May the Lord provide His Grace and Comfort for Bob’s family during this time. We are thankful for the privilege of getting to know Bob over the past few years. He had a great sense of humour, a great laugh, and many wonderful stories! We will miss his presence at our church services, and I will miss his encouraging emails. Thank you, Bob, for your testimony and a legacy of true hope in Christ. We are so thankful that you are enjoying Heaven with your Saviour, Jesus Christ.
With grateful hearts,
Pastor Steven and Deborah Michel (and Crosspoint Baptist Church)

My heart felt condolences to Karen, Karel, Gen and Maggie.
I had the pleasure of meeting Bob when studying Engineering with Karen. He was always such a warm and welcoming man to his home. I enjoyed our visit a few years ago with Karen. He adored his family. He will be missed.

My brother and I send our warmest condolences to Karen and the rest of the family. Bob was very interested in his Danish heritage, and we were pleased to have met him a couple of times in Denmark and corresponded with him through the years. May he rest in peace!
