In Memory of Daniel Roy
Daniel Roy passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 25, 2025 at the age of 86. Predeceased by his cherished wife Lillian Mulligan-Roy. He leaves behind his daughter Louise. He will be fondly remembered by his sisters Madeleine (Bernard), Lise and Michelle, many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to the Orléans Palliative Care Team, Paramed personal support workers, Carefor and Bayshore nurses and the team from Assisted Living Services Place Besserer whose compassion and dedication enabled Daniel to pass away at home, as he had wished.
Daniel’s life will be celebrated on December 9th, 2025 at the Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Road, Orléans at 11 am followed by a reception. The family will receive condolences starting at 9:45 am.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Daniel Roy est décédé sereinement entouré de sa famille le 25 novembre 2025 à l’âge de 86 ans. Prédécédé par son épouse bien-aimée, Lillian Mulligan-Roy. Il laisse dans le deuil sa fille Louise, ses soeurs Madeleine (Bernard), Lise et Michelle, plusieurs neveux, nièces et amis.
La famille tient à remercier de tout coeur l’équipe de Soins Palliatifs d’Orléans, les auxiliaires familiales de Paramed, le personnel infirmier de Carefor et Bayshore, ainsi que l’équipe des Services d’aide à la vie autonome de la Place Besserer. Le dévouement et la compassion dont ils ont fait preuve ont permis à Daniel de s’éteindre paisiblement chez lui comme il le souhaitait.
Une célébration de la vie de Daniel se tiendra le 9 décembre, 2025 au Complexe Funéraire Héritage,1250 chemin Trim, Orléans à 11h00 suivie d’une réception. La famille recevra les témoignages de sympathie à partir de 9h45.
Un don en sa mémoire à un organisme de votre choix serait apprécié.

Rest in peace, Uncle Dan. I have very fond memories of you and Aunt Lil living on Railway starting out your married life together. As a family, we visited often as our grandparents lived just a few houses over from your place. Lots of card games were played around the large wooden table in the kitchen with the wooden stove crackling and providing great warmth in the colder months. Abundance of loud laughter resonated throughout the kitchen as I remember watching you play cards… Aunt Lil always nearby.
So many other memories followed and here we are so many years later.

My condolences to you for your great losses. I loved Uncle Dan and Aunt Lil, very much, they were so very good to me all my life. I remember spending many weekends on Railway with them. Uncle Dan always made me feel very welcome. We continued a great relationship talking real estate amongst other topics. He was very kind and helpful with support and advice!
