Just heard the news of Vern’s passing. Sincere condolences to you Ginette and your family members. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

My sincere condolences to you all Ginette. I loved spending time with Vern and listening to him talk about his fascinating life. He was an awesome cook and loved having company to cook for. I was lucky enough to be included to be one of those guests. I will miss his sense of humour and his wonderful smile. Rest In Peace my friend.

Dear Ginette and family
We just heard of Vern’s passing. Please accept our deepest condolences. I knew Vernon for a very long time (1952) – we were in school together in Mussoorie and Lucknow and worked together in Delhi. We met once again in Canada and met you and him on a number of occasions in Toronto. Vern was also a colleague and dear friend of my mother.
Sincerely
Bruce (Cheryl)
