In Memory of Suzanne Dubien

It is with great sadness that we announce that Suzanne Dubien (née Gravelle) passed away with dignity at the age of 81 on November 12, reuniting with her husband Jean-Paul (2010) and her son Luc (1999) (Claire), both of whom she missed dearly.

She leaves in sadness her loving son Gilles (Dominique), her grandchildren Jean-Luc (Caroline) and Daniel (Tamara), her great-grandchildren Julia, Ava and Olivia, her sister Aline (Pierre) and her brothers Yvon (the late Suzanne) and Gérard (Lauretta) and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sisters Claire, Rita, Lise and Annette.

Suzanne enjoyed many years with her family at their Luskville cottage, which was later transformed into a year-round residence where family and friends were always welcome.  She was an avid dog lover and was rarely without a four-legged friend.  She enjoyed playing cards, especially Rummoli, and often had the upper hand on her opponents.  She was a strong woman who was very proud of her family.

The family would like to thank everyone who helped Suzanne stay in her home for as long as possible and those who cared for her at the May Court Hospice.

The family will receive condolences from relatives and friends at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Rd., Orléans, on December 8 starting at 10:00 a.m., service to be held at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception and interment.  In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the May Court Hospice in her memory.
