In Memory of Sr. Gertrude Gareau

Sister Gertrude Gareau (Sister Gertrude-Marie de Jésus) Daughter of Wisdom, passed away peacefully after a long illness on June 30, 2018 at the age of 82, of which 62 years were consecrated in religious life. She was the daughter of the late Henri Gareau and the late Florida Leduc and of late step-mother Victoria Serré. She leaves behind her brother Rolland and sister-in-law Gisèle and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will take place on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 7:15 p.m. at Maison Accueil-Sagesse, 424 Montreal Road, Ottawa. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 6 at 10:30 a.m. at the Chapel Maison Accueil-Sagesse, 424 Montreal Road, Ottawa followed by the internment at Notre-Dame cemetery.
