In Memory of Simon Leclair
Simon Joseph Albert Leclair, 78 of Orleans, Ontario, passed away peacefully with his beloved daughter Sophie by his side on January 14th at Elizabeth Bruyère.
Simon was born in Alfred, Ontario to Séraphin and Corinne on December 7th, 1941. He co-owned several businesses with his partner Gerald Lafrance of 40 years including Low Boy Furniture in Orleans and Globe Mags and Cigars in the Byward Market.
He is survived by his only daughter Sophie (Mark), his 3 grandchildren Simon (Sarah), Brandon and Marissa, his brothers and his sisters Florimond (Rita), Achille (Monique), Marie Anna f.d.l.s., Alice (Laurent), Odette f.d.l.s., Estelle (late Leo), Denis (late Lise) Lise, Marielle (Gérald) as well as his dear friend Odette Benoît and 35 nephews and nieces.
He is predeceased by his parents Seraphin and Corinne, his brother Jean-Guy (late Agathe) and his beloved wife Noëlla Lecalir née Portelance.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Heritage Funeral Complex Chapel in Orleans, Ontario on Friday January 24th at 4pm with Father Jean-Pierre Fredette officiating with a reception to follow. Visitations will precede from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
