In Memory of Sheila Jones

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sheila Jones (nee Videto) at the age of 75. Sheila passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute,

surrounded by her family.

Predeceased by her parents Frederick and Annie Videto (nee Prentice), brothers Gaylan, Wayne and Lyle, and sisters Frances and Joyce.

Sheila is survived by her devoted husband Nelson Jones, her cherished daughters, Vanessa Jones (Cory Wormsley) and Crystal Hogan (Joey Hogan) and her beloved and only grandchild, Fiona Buchanan. Sheila leaves behind her brothers Elwin and Jimmy, and sisters Jean Dillabough, Vivian Flett and Agnes Barkwell.

Sheila will be remembered for her warm smile, friendliness, kind heart, and sense of humour that brought joy to many people throughout her lifetime. She enjoyed spending time with her

family and friends.

The family wishes to thank the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, especially Dr. Froeschl, the Palliative Care team and all the nursing staff for the wonderful care and compassion received during this challenging time.
