In Memory of Saraswati Patel
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Saraswati Somabhai Patel on December 30, 2021. She was 70 years old and lived in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Saraswati or Sara (as she was known to her friends), was beloved by everyone who had the opportunity to spend time with her. Her ability to lead each situation with genuine love and passion for togetherness is what most would remember from their time knowing Saraswati.
Although Saraswati’s health had been depleting over the past 18 months, few people knew the extent to which she was struggling. The joy brought to her life was always her family and it was being around her family that gave her the strength to push through the pain.
Saraswati is survived by her husband Somabhai Patel. Her son Kiran, daughter-in-law Shital, and two grandsons Krishan and Arjun Patel, her daughter Pramodna, son-in-law Chetan and grandson Kahil Solanki and her daughter Vibhuti and son-in-law Ronan Quinn.
