Ruth is united in heaven with her parents Stuart and Christina Hill and her sisters Chris (Aurel) and June (Bob).

Ruth will be missed dearly by her siblings Walter (Karen), Ronald (Monique), Stanley (Diane) and David (Kris).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Ottawa Mission. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

My beautiful mother in law, she was a amazingly strong woman with a beat heart and soul, I’m so thankful for the years we had together xoxo

Love you Nanny ♥️ I’ll never forget all the memories I had with you. All the summers I had with you playing in the yard or watching AFV..💔

I am so sorry to hear of Ruth’s passing..
May the Lord provide Peace, Strength, and Comfort to your family during this time.

With Sympathy and Friendship,
Colleen (Newton) Cox

Sending my deepest sympathies to the Hill family for your loss.
My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Remembering Ruth, my neighbor from the past, growing up in Vars.

Kathy, I just saw this and I’m so sorry to hear this. Please accept my sincere condolences. I would love to hear from you so I hope this post gets to you

Oh my goodness, I had no idea Ruth passed away. I was wishing her a Happy Birthday today and something made me look. My deepest condolences… we were friends for many years! Collectibles … she’d have items mailed to my P.O. Box in the US. We also bonded over our mutual love for one of her foster kids, Christopher. I became an alternate caregiver during those years. I’m so sorry for your loss, wonderful woman that always thought of others before herself.

I am so sorry to hear of Ruth’s passing. Ruth was the foster mom of our adopted son Christopher. She was very loving and a wonderful caregiver for him and all her foster kids. After we adopted, we kept in touch with Ruth and I sent her pictures of Christopher every year. I know she loved getting news of how he was doing and was so happy for him. In a weird coincidence, it has been 13 years this month that we met her. She will be missed by many. My condolences to her close and extended family.
