In Memory of Roland “Rolly” Delorme

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland (Rolly) Delorme on Saturday, December 24th, 2016 at the age of 78. He passed away peacefully at home accompanied by his devoted wife of 53 years and best friend, Lise (Parisien), after a long battle with kidney cancer. Loving father of Sylvie Bellé (Vince) and Christine Prevost (Gerald). Cherished grand-papa of Véronique Bellé (fiancé Nicolas Laporte) and Caterina Bellé. Dear brother of Bernard (Valerie), Raymond (Suzanne), Marcel (Diane), Yolande Colasante (Benny), André (Estelle), Claudette (Lionel), Roger (Terry) and Jack (Doreen). He will also be missed by the Parisien family and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his father Henri Delorme and mother Georgette Deslongchamps; siblings Thérèse, Pierrette, Robert, Germain, Jean-Guy and Germaine. He was part owner of M & R Fruits and Vegetables Ltd with his brother Marcel for over 25 years. A sincere thank you to the staff of the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre and the Champlain Community Care Access Centre. The family will receive relatives and friends at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Rd., Orléans, on Saturday, January 7th, 2017 at 11:00 am. A memorial service to celebrate Rolly’s life will follow in the Heritage Chapel at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.
