In Memory of Robert Alfred Hill “Bob”
Robert Alfred Hill, known to most as “Bob”, left us suddenly on March 12th
Bob was a loving husband, brother, father and grandfather.
Bob was well known for his enthusiasm to organize and manage anything needed, while doing so was very personable, respectful and kind to all. The “Chief Administrator”, or in some circles known as “The Governor”, donated much of his time and effort to support friends, family and charitable organizations. Bob best demonstrated his caring for others through his deeds and by the interest he showed in the people around him.
Bob was predeceased by his loving wife of 55 years Ann, and will be missed dearly by his two sons, Larry (Francine) and Jim (Shannon) as well as his grandchildren Evan and Jason. Bob also leaves behind many friends, family and his close companion, Marie.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Wednesday March 27 from 4 – 7 pm. at the Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Road, Ottawa On.
Rest in peace Bob ,you are now with your wife and Lorraine the trouble you are going to get into now,
To your family and friends he will be missed 🙏
We are so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. When I and my partner first joined the Blackburn Hamlet Bridge Club Bob was so welcoming and patient. We were blessed to know him and appreciated his wit, charm and encouragement in helping us learn to play more strategically. We were so excited for him when he went to Florida for a few weeks. And even happier when he returned after an absence. Even though he was not feeling the greatest, Bob retained good spirits, kept smiling and still joked with us! We will miss him. Our sincerest condolences to Bob’s family.

Sorry to hear Jim, my sincere Condolences to you and the Families.
Cheers Bro! ! It was great having you as number 1 in the family. Both you and Anne were always there when I needed to seek advice on life’s ups and downs. Save me a tee off time. Madeleine loved so much talking with Anne. Say hi to mom and dad. Lorraine and John and family…….RIP all 💔 ⛳
Mike et Madeleine😊🥰
Jim, I’m thinking of you during this difficult time. I’m so sorry for the loss of your father and want to extend my condolences to you and your family.
Jim, sorry to hear of your loss. My condolences to you and your family. Take care.
Bob, you were my neighbor, confident and friend. You were always there with your quick wit and ready smile. The whole building relied on you for jokes, organizing of outings and ensuring everyone had a ride to all outings. I for one will miss your ability to make sense of some complex issues in the building, but, also always questioning the why of what we were doing as board members. This floor and building will never be the same again!! Mr. 505 (PITA) will be sorely missed.
From our family to yours, our deepest condolences. Never easy when yours and your boys number 1 fan and supporter passes away but I’m certain that his influence and memory will never fade. Was always a pleasure to see him and your mom supporting the Stingers. We wish you and the family strength and courage during this difficult time.
