In Memory of René Proulx

The family announces with great sorrow his passing at the Centre d’Accueil Roger Séguin in Clarence Creek on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband of the late Cécile (née Alarie). He leaves behind his children Raymond, Monique, Jacqueline, Maurice (Judy), Lucien, Suzanne, Madeleine and Paul (Colette). He will be greatly missed by his 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, his sister Irène (late Clint Campbell), his brother Victor (Claire), his sisters-in-law Thérèse (late Fernand) and Monique (late Roger), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents André and Evelina, his beloved wife Cécile, his daughter Gisèle and son-in-law Jean Perreault, his sisters, Anna (late George Régimbal), Marguerite (late Zotique Régimbal), Thérèse (late Léo Gauthier) and Lorraine (late Edouard Lance), and his brothers Denis (late Rolande Blais), Fernand and Roger. The family will greet relatives and friends at Heritage Funeral Home, 1250 Trim Rd., Orléans, on Sunday, December 20, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A religious ceremony will be held at St. Joseph Church, 2757 St. Joseph Blvd., Orléans, on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Kidney Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
