In Memory of Paul Dennis Mercier

We are very saddened to announce the passing of Paul Dennis Mercier after a long and brave battle with liver disease. Predeceased by his father Jules Mercier and his mother Clara Dorris. He is survived by his wife, Christiane Mercier (née Corbeil), his brother, Robert C Mercier (Dyan Cross), his daughter, Édith-Émilie Mercier (David Lacroix), his grandchildren, Annabelle and Thomas Lacroix, his sisters-in-law, his brothers-in law, his nieces and nephews, as well as other members of our family and his friends. Born in Chicoutimi, Québec, Paul grew up in Rosemère, and spent the majority of his young adult life in Boisbriand, before moving to Orleans, Ontario, in the mid-80s. He spent most of his life working as the Director of purchasing at the East-Central French Catholic School Board (Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est). Cremation has taken place. Because of the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, there will be no service at this time. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. We would like to thank the Ottawa General Hospital and the Élisabeth Bruyère Hospital for the exceptional care he received. In memoriam donations to the Canadian Liver Foundation are appreciated.
