The Rock of our family passed away peacefully as the sun rose over the horizon. Son of the late Edith V. Lauritson and Edward N. Switzer. Adored husband and soulmate of Diane (nee Doxtater), best father ever to Peter (Andrea Smith) and Adam (YiJia Wang). Much loved YeYe to his four grandchildren, Brendan, Aidan, Liam and Audrey. Big brother to Joan (John Scott) and Karen (Klaus Holzhuter). A Celebration of Norman’s life will take place in the Reception Room at the Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Road (corner of Taylor Creek Drive) on Thursday, May 26, 2016, starting at 1 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
