In Memory of Nathan Buxton
Our beautiful boy Nathan passed away suddenly on June 5th at the age of 13.
Nathan was born in Daegu South Korea on February 2nd, 2006 and joined our family at the age of 5 months. He completed our family and brought us much love and laughter. He was our Sonshine.
Nathan excelled in school and was always excited to share new discoveries each day. He was an avid reader, a lego master builder, loved his video games and weekly Nerf rival sessions at the rec centre. He was both creative and technically inclined – with a hot glue gun and a roll of duct tape he could transform anything from the recycling box into a mechanical masterpiece.
Summer holidays were spent on the lake in Nova Scotia – swimming and cannonball dives off the wharf, water fights, the treehouse in the forest, treasure hunting on the beach, brunch in the rain and cooking on the campfire. He called this his happy place – he will return one last time.
Nathan was a kind and generous soul who was most happy when surrounded by family and friends. His laughter was infectious, a constant source of joy, this is what people will remember the most about him.
He jammed a lifetime of fun, laughter and love into his short 13 years. His Mother, Father, sister Emily and best pal Raffi will miss him terribly but we will be forever thankful and cherish the time he spent with us.
Nathan will be missed by all he touched but never forgotten.
To honor his memory enjoy life and be kind to one another. Most importantly don’t forget to laugh.
A Celebration of Life event will take place Thursday, June 13, from 4-7pm at the Heritage Funeral Complex in Orléans. A Ceremonie will take place in the Heritage Chapel from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Graduating highschool does not feel right without you, Nathan. I know you would have gotten in to whatever school and program you wanted. Always thinking of you, especially in the month of June.
