In Memory of Monique Brisson
Monique Brisson, our spouse, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on July 10, 2019, after an arduous and courageous fight against cancer, at the age of 58.
She is mourned by her husband Richard Gauthier, her children Anaïque Lepage (Alex Beaton) and Sébastien Lepage (Ken Mak) and her granddaughter, her special treasure, Calypso. She is also mourned by her brothers and sisters, André Brisson (Diane Bélanger-Brisson), Lyne Des Rosiers (François Des Rosiers) and Paul Brisson, as well as plenty of nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Rita Brisson (née Lacoste).
But, despite our sadness, she will forever be present in our thoughts and in our hearts. She is an exceptional woman, tenacious, courageous and overflowing with empathy. She has only ever wanted happiness for her loved ones, and she would brighten the days of those whose paths she would cross, with her active listening, her radiant smile and her genuine laugh.
Her family and friends will be receiving condolences at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Road, Orleans, on July 27, 2019 at 10 a.m. The commemorative ceremony will be held in the same complex at 11 a.m. and will be followed by a reception and lunch.
In lieu of flowers, your sympathies and well-wishes may be expressed via a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ottawa Hospital Foundation Cancer Research Program.
