In Memory of Maurice Charlebois

Maurice Charlebois passed away peacefully in Ottawa, on November 5, 2023, at the age of 93 years. He leaves behind his loving wife of 70 years, Jacqueline Charlebois-Bertrand; his proud children, Daniel (Joanne), André (Loraine), Denis (Karen), Lise, and Jean; his adored grandchildren, Michael (Hailey), Marc (Samantha), David (Melissa), Paul (Katie), Danielle (Kazimir), Jacqueline, Jenna, and Nicole (Trevor); his cherished great-grandchildren, Alice, Lily, Ava, Charlie, Vienna, Benjamin, Sloane, Maxwell, Mackenzie, Madeline, Jaclyn, and Amelia.   

Maurice was born in L’Orignal, Ontario, on October 3^rd 1930, to the late Ernest Charlebois and Béatrice Dubois. He grew up in a large family, and is survived by his brother Gaetan, and sisters Céline and Elizabeth.

Maurice set a great example of a healthy and active lifestyle. He also taught his family the value of hard work, which served him well in his professional life, becoming President and CEO of Frankel Steel.

For many years, Maurice loved spending time in Florida with his beloved wife, friends and family. He always greeted everyone with a warm smile.

Maurice has forever left memories in the hearts of all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
