In Memory of Marie Ménard
Marie Anne Ruby Ménard
Marie Anne Ruby Ménard (née Leclair) left this material world on Monday the 2nd of November 2020 after suffering a few long years from Alzheimer’s disease. Predeceased by her parents, Achille and Yvette (née Emond) Leclair, and her adoring husband Jacques Ménard. She is survived and remembered by her children, Marc Ménard and Mireille Dozois (Jean-Philippe Dozois), her grandchildren Olivier and Charlotte Dozois. Her sister Suzanne Bergevin (née Leclair) (Claude Bergevin), brother George Leclair (Joanne Leclair, née Labelle) and nephews and nieces Eric and Brigitte Bergevin (Michel Coté), Sébastien Leclair (Kayla Cyr) and Alexandre Leclair (Melissa Boileau). She also leaves behind her loving and dedicated Godchild, Randy Prescott (Miwa Prescott). And many other family members and friends.
A faithful Christian, she valued religion greatly. She found comfort in faith. She regularly attended mass at the Paroisse Sainte-Marie. Throughout her life, Marie put the well-being of her family and loved ones at the forefront. Cheerful, loving and caring, she was the matriarch of the family and brought people together.
All those who had the chance to meet her are well aware of her great generosity and the attention she paid to each and everyone.
She will be missed deeply.
The family would like to give thanks to the Centre d’accueil Champlain for the care they gave Marie during the last year and a half.
