In Memory of Marie-Elourde Cavé
It is with our deepest regret that the Cavé family announces the departure of Marie Élourdes Cavé after a long battle against cancer, at the age of 55 on June 28th, 2017.
She was our daughter, sister, mother, friend, co-worker and much more to many others. She leave behind her two son’s that she loved dearly; Donny Cavé and Peterson Michel, her mother Utilia Théodore Cavé, her siblings; Gérald Cavé, Reynold Cavé, Adrien Cavé, Jean Dupin Cavé, Jean Roger Cavé, Jean Donel Cavé, Marie Michelle Cavé, Marie Dorothy Cavé, Marie Louise Cavé, Marie Hélene Cavé and Jean Mirtho Cavé. Her nieces and nephew; Dimitry, Marie Dorothee, Yamiley, Scheider (Bacon), Nancy, Stephane, Pradel, Philipe, Fabiola, Sagine, Edouard, Maria, Geraldine, Olivier, Ralph, Thomas, Lisa, Laura, Prenel, Kedy, Magaline, Andrick, Cogito, Yvens, Nadege, Noemi, Jonathan, Gordon, Daryl, Cedrick, Brianna, Alissa, Jean Marie, Michael, Hermy, Sael, Samuel, Tatiana, Aloulou, Maritia, Raphael. Her brothers and sister in law, her cousins, nephew’s kids, and extended family and friends from Canada, United States and Haiti. She is preceded by her Dad (Prenel Cavé), her brother (Jean-Marie Cavé), her sister (Marie Claudie Cavé) and her niece (Chantal Cavé).
Throughout her journey, she was surrounded by her family and friends. They shared tears of joy, laughter’s, words of wisdom and best memories.
She was born on April 2nd, 1962. If you knew her well you’d know her best qualities, how she was caring, generous, outgoing, funny, family oriented and mindful of others. One of the words that were most definitely not part of her vocabulary was “no” when it came to helping others. It didn’t matter the time of day nor the reason why you called. Her door was always open.
To her sons she will forever be remembered as a hero, provider, role model, a caring person and most importantly a fighter. Although a timeline was given, she still fought beyond her time just to remain with her love ones.
We would like to extend our appreciation to the Royal Victoria Hospital’s team and just to name a few, Dr Bouganim, Angela, Brian, Aviva, Max and the whole entire staff.
To our family and friend thank you all your help and support.
The family will receive you at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim road, Orleans, Friday, July 14, 2017 from 6pm to 9pm.
