In Memory of Marcel Budd

We are saddened to announce the passing of our dear Marcel Budd at the age of 78 after a long and courageous battle with cancer on December 5th 2020. He was the son of late Frank Budd and late Jeannette St-Jean. He leaves behind his wife Madeleine (Labelle), his children Julie Budd (Luc Lavictoire) and Jean-François Budd (Marie-Josée Vinette). He also leaves behind his brother John Budd (Jocelyne Morin) and Steve Budd, his grand-children: Élodie, Sandrine, Mannix, Trystan, Makaila, and Taylor and many brothers and sisters in law, cousins, nieces and nephews, cousins and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his sister Roseanne Budd and first wife Angèle Trudeau.

Retired from the Gloucester Fire Department and member of the Knights of Columbus of Orleans , Marcel enjoyed life to the fullest by playing in many different hockey, baseball and football teams, gardening and taking on millions of construction projects as well as share countless stories with friends and family which he adored.

The family would like to thank the LHIN home care services, specifically the palliative care team and the health care staff at The Ottawa Hospital 7th floor NW.

Instead of flowers, a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.

Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, a ceremony will be held in private with the family.
