Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at the age of 77 years. Son of the late Wilfrid Rancourt and of the late Juliette Talbot. Beloved husband of Jeanne (née Rousson). Loving father of France (Riad Rihane) and André (Josée Loranger). Cherished grandfather of Simon (Josée Leach), Maxime (Katie Ross), Danyka, Naïla and great-grandfather of Shane, Liam and Jackson. He will be sadly missed by his daughter-in-law Stéphanie Bertrand, his siblings Paul-Henri, Antonio, Denise, Louisette, Bertrand, Francine, Odette, Doris, Yves, Alain, Normand and Réjean, his sisters-in-law Gabrielle Robert and Albertine Ebenhoech, as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. Predeceased by his brothers Yvon, Clermont and Mario, as well as his sister-in-law Annette Godard. The family will receive relatives and friends at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Rd. (corner of Taylor Creek Dr.), Orléans, on Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m., as well as on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint-Joseph Church, 2757 St. Joseph Blvd., Orléans, on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St-Joseph Church Fundraising Campaign would be appreciated.
