In Memory of Lyle Jackson

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyle Jackson of Orleans (formerly of Avonmore) who passed away on May 16th with family by his side. Lyle is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Tricia (Rielly) and his children Sonya (Joe Bonacci), Becky (Andy Stanisic), Kristina (Rodney den Dunnen), Nathan (Michelle Bobala). Cherished grandfather to Eryck, Zack, Zoë, Jaxon, Beckett, Nolan, Grace, Abby, Charlie, and Izzy.

He is predeceased by his parents Ernie and Lydia Jackson (Coleman), and brothers Glen and Daryl.

He will be missed by his siblings Donald (Roelie), Carol (Brad), Linda Doreen (Leo), and Dean.

Lyle enjoyed his retirement for the past 18 years from IBEW local 115 by travelling and spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Ottawa General Hospital (6th floor), the Ottawa Cancer Centre, and St. Vincent’s Hospital (3rd floor) for their care and compassion over the past year.

A visitation and reception in celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Heritage Funeral Complex in Orleans from 4 pm until 7 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Bruyère Foundation – Bruyère Palliative Care, would be greatly appreciated.
