In Memory of Jon Lang
It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Jon, on February 5, 2023 at the age of 42.
Jon will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his spouse Melanie and her children Katrina and Kyle ; his mother Cheryl ; his sons Jacob and Aidan ; his sister Sherry (Darcy) ; his brother Joey, his “nieceses” Emma and Chelsea, as well as his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Jon loved singing so much that if there was a microphone in sight, he would be the first one there. Even if there wasn’t a microphone Jon could be heard singing his heart out.
He had a way of lighting up a room when he walked in and making everyone laugh. He could be silly and fun, but if needed also sit and hold space for his friends and family when they needed it. He would always do his best to cheer up anyone who was down no matter how he was feeling. He would give the shirt off his back without hesitation. That’s the type of person Jon was.
We know that everyone who was lucky enough to know him have so many memories of laughing with him until your sides hurt. Jon loved with his whole heart. He gave a piece of himself to everyone he knew and for that we are all thankful. The light he brought to the world will live on in every memory.
Jon the world won’t be the same without you in it. You will be missed by many family members and friends.
A Celebration of life will be held on March 11th, 2023, from 3 p.m. to 8p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, 294 Cyr Ave, Vanier, ON K1L 7N7.

Jon, my first love, father of our son and in the end one of my very best friends.
We shared a bond that most people will never find with anyone in their entire lives and for that I will always thankful.
our story can not be understood by most people, but that’s ok because it was our story and it was an amazing one.
I will miss your contagious smile, your conspiracy theories, our ridiculous phone conversations, your pizza stories ($:ck nabil) lol, But most of all I will miss the songs you would sing to me or send me when I couldn’t sleep and the way you knew everything without me saying a word.
life will never be the same… I will never be the same.
I know you’ll be there waiting for me when it’s my turn and we will sing and dance again.
I love you always ❤
