Jeannette was a proud mother and grandmother, who loved her family very much. She grew up in Sarsfield and, after marrying the love of her life, Valmont, built a home in Navan, where she raised her two children, Lise and Luc.
Jeannette loved children and started a home daycare, helping to raise other people’s children until her retirement, at the age of 70. She was a familiar face at the Navan arena canteen and worked right up until her diagnosis of cancer. Jeannette also enjoyed her work at Bearbrook Farm and The German Club.
As an avid bowler, Jeannette belonged to the Navan and Embrun bowling leagues. She was also passionate about bingo and could be found at any open bingo hall.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint-Hugues Church, Sarsfield on Saturday, October 2nd, 2021 at 1 p.m. with interment at the parish cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow the interment.
In lieu of flower donations to Canadian Cancer Society or CHEO Foundation would be appreciated.
