In Memory of Jacques Pinard
Jacques Pinard passed away peacefully at home on May 25, 2017, at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Réjeanne Pinard (born Talbot) and loving father of the late Michel, and survived by his four children: Diane (Serge), Serge (Barbara), Sandra (Denis), and Marc (Louise). Cherished grandfather of Pascale (Geoffrey), Stéphane (Isabelle), Nicolas, Catherine, Crystal, Nancy (Herman) and Jonathan, and great grandfather of Jacob, Gabrielle, Adèle, Félix, Magaly and Lauraly. He will be sadly missed by his sister, Colombe Lépine (Maurice), his youngest brother, Jean Pinard (Pierrette), his brother-in-law, Guillaume Châtelain, his sisters-in-law, Georgette Pinard, Murielle Pinard, Claudette Laplante (Gérald), Gisèle Talbot (Roger) and Yolande Talbot (Guy), and by his nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his four sisters, Cécile (Léo), Denise, Pierrette (Paul) and Pauline (Constant), as well as his three brothers, Lorenzo, Bertrand (Lucette) and Pierre.
Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who provided excellent care to Jacques: Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital (rehabilitative care), CCAC, Carefor, We Care, Bayshore, and all the care providers from palliative services. Further thanks to Rahim Abdulla and his team at Centrum Pharmacy, and especially to his long-time family physician Dr. Jo-Anne Trenholm. We are also grateful for the assistance and guidance provided by Heritage Funeral Complex. A religious ceremony will be held at the Paroisse Sainte-Marie d’Orléans, located at 4831 Innes Road, on Friday June 2, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Family members will be present as of 9:30 a.m. to receive condolences. Following the ceremony, a reception will be held at the Heritage Funeral Complex at 1250 Trim Road, in Orleans. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honour Jacques’ memory may donate to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
