In Memory of Jacqueline Marier

It is with a heavy heart that the family of Jacqueline Marier (born de Montigny) formely of Kapuskasing shares the death of their mother on April 13, 2021 at the age of 93 year old. She leaves behind her children Monique of Cumberland, Claire (André Bélanger) of Harty, Paul (Monica Fekete) of Astorville et Jacques (Angela Ricketts) of Toronto, her grand-children Loraine, Mélanie, Julie, Véronique (Jason Lucchetta), Mathieu (Amanda Eagles), Marc, Alexine, Stephan, Philip (Samuelle Duplessis) as well as her great-grand-children Brett (Devyn), Nolan, William, Isabelle, Abby-Fae, Phoebe and her great-great-grand-daugther Quinn. She also leaves to morn her loss her brother Florent (Georgette), and her sisters Jeanne, Fernande and Denise. She was predeceased by her husband Armand, her daugther Chantal, her son Louis, her parents Florence Nadon and Jean de Montigny as well as 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Mom, grand-maman, mamie was a wonderful woman and the nucleus of her family. She enjoyed welcoming them into her home to cook their favorite foods or to play various card games. She particularly liked being surrounded by her family to celebrate the various holidays, be it Christmas, Easter, birthdays and others. The love she had for her family cannot be put into words and each of us will forever treasure fond memories of her. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a service will take place at a later date. In leu of flowers, your expressions of sympathy can translate into donations for renovations to the Immaculate Conception Church of Kapuskasing or the Civic Hospital Foundation in Ottawa.
