In Memory of Hélène Charlebois (née Éthier)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Hélène Charlebois, peacefully at home on Thursday, June 13th, 2019, at the age of 71.  Loving mother of Daniel (Erika), Sylvie (Rafal Malek), Joel and Annie (Matt Lee). Cherished grandmother of Kayla, Erik, Alexandre, Lillyan, Sébastian and Evan, and great-grandmother of Brayden. She will be deeply missed by her siblings André (Gaby) and Monique (the late Allen Rittenour), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, countless friends, and her longtime partner Paul D’Amico. Predeceased by her parents Vianney and Ida Éthier (née McAllister), and her brother Roger. Widow of Roger Charlebois. Hélène’s children would like to offer a very special “Thank You” to the wonderful nurses and doctors of the Ottawa General Hospital – 5th Floor Oncology for all their care and kindness. The family will receive relatives and friends at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Rd., Orléans, on Wednesday, June 19th, 2019, from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. and from 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral ceremony will be held at Paroisse Sainte-Marie, 4831 Innes Rd., Orléans, on Friday, June 21st, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Family members will be present as of 9:45 a.m. to receive condolences. In lieu of flowers, donations in Hélène’s memory may be made to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or the CHEO Foundation.
