In Memory of Hélène Beaudin

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Hélène Beaudin (Lavergne), of Rockland, originally of Navan, on February 17, 2018 at the age of 62. She left us too soon, due to a courageous battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). Dear daughter of the late Adrien Lavergne and Eva Lavergne (Cléroux). Beloved mother of Chantal (Louis Neveu) and Marc-André (Amy Eddington). Cherished grandmother of Alexandre and Yanick Neveu and of Lucas and Xavier Beaudin. Predeceased by her sweetheart Royal Dion. She will be sadly missed by her two sisters: Lucienne (Paul) and Nicole (Alain) and her six brothers : André (Cécile), Robert (Diane), Denis (Carole), Jean-Guy (Chantal), Régent (Elizabeth) and Lionel (Kim).  She will also be missed by her aunt Thérèse; as well as many nephews, nieces, friends and the father of her children, Yvan Beaudin and his family.  A celebration of her life and the burial of her ashes will be held at the Saint-Hugues Cemetery in the Spring. The family would like to thank the staff at Rockland Manor, Susan McNeely and the healthcare team from the ALS clinic at the Rehabilitation Center from the Ottawa Hospital, Lyne Lalonde and Sylvie Malette from Champlain LHIN (formerly CCAC), her occupational therapist Joelle Demers-Labreche, the staff and PSW at Bayshore and Saint Elizabeth, as well as, the day program and transport service offered by Carefor. Everyone showed such support, compassion and care. In lieu of flowers, donations to the ALS Fund at The Rehabilitation Centre of The Ottawa Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
