In Memory of Gurbachan Singh Chahal

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gurbachan Singh Chahal on January 9, 2023. Gurbachan Singh was born in India on December 25, 1919 in the village of Chhajjawal. He lived his life while always displaying great determination, courage, and love for his family. He retired from the Indian Navy with the rank of Lieutenant before immigrating to Canada and eventually settling with his family in Ottawa. Gurbachan Singh is survived by his wife, three children, 12 grand-children, 4 great-grand-children, and countless other relatives including nieces and nephews who will always cherish him.
