In Memory of Gisèle “née Poirier” Lalonde

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our wonderful wife and mother, originally from Cornwall, on June 15, 2016 at the age of 77 years, surrounded by family. Beloved wife of Royal Lalonde and loving mother of Rick (Tanya), Diane (Bear) and Marc (Sophie). A grandmother to eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Marcel (Lisette), Mariette (Richard) and the late Gaëtane. Gisèle was predeceased by her parents, Gilbert Poirier and Léa Ménard. She will be missed by cousins, nieces, nephews and very special friends. Her laughter and good humour were contagious. A memorial celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at the Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim rd. (corner of Taylor Creek Dr.), Orléans. The family will receive condolences as of 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers and if desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
