In Memory of George Jacques

It is with extreme sadness and love that we say goodbye to our dear dad George Jacques on the 26th of June, 2017 in his 84th year. George is survived by his loving wife Suzanne who he was married to just shy of 55 years. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Linda, his son Michael and wife Victoria, his grandson Darren. Beloved brother of surviving sister Ann Jacques. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephew, extended family and friends. Dad was extraordinarily proud of his two treasured children Mike and Linda. He adored his grandson Darren who he continuously mentored and inspired. George was especially proud of his achievements with the Canadian Bank Note Company for 23 years. After his retirement he continued to work alongside his son, Michael, in the company they built together “General Repairs and Renovations”. He will always be remembered for his generosity, integrity, wisdom, love, gentleness, patience, servant’s heart and his powerful handshake. A special thanks to Dr. Daniel Vincent and all the Bayshore nursing staff for their dedication and professionalism, as well as the caring staff at the Promenade Retirement Residence with special acknowledgement to Denise and Donny for their extreme compassionate care. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Road, Orléans, on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A religious ceremony will follow at Divine Infant Church, 6658 Bilberry Dr., Orléans at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ottawa Humane Society.
