In Memory of Eugene & Anne-Marie Ruest

Anne-Marie Ruest (nee Vanhaelemeesch) of Paisley, Ontario passed away peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital on May 11, 2017 at the age of 75. She is survived by her daughters Marleen (Paul) and Irene (Barry), grandchildren Erik, Ashley, Matthew (Carrie), Mark (Tegan) and great-granddaughter Kaylee. She is also survived by brothers, Jules (Lisette) and Pierre (Dianne). She will be fondly remembered by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her loving husband, Eugene Ruest, parents Leon and Maria (Devriese) Vanhaelemeesch and brother Jacques. We would like to thank the staff in the ICU at the General Hospital for their kindness and care for our mom. Cremation has taken place.

Eugene Ruest of Paisley, Ontario, passed away peacefully at the Walkerton Hospital on Monday, August 1, 2016 in his 81st year. Loving husband of Anne-Marie (Vanhaelemeesch). Father of Paul, Elizabeth, Madeleine and David. Stepfather of Marleen and Irene. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, sister Helen, brothers Bert (Reina) and Andre (Pauline), brothers-in-law Jules (Lisette) and Pierre (Dianne) and sisters-in-law Heather and Marilyn. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Loretta Ruest and brothers Roger and his wife Carol and John. Cremation has taken place.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Heritage Funeral Complex, 1250 Trim Road in Orleans, on Friday, September 8, 2017 from 5 – 7 pm. A Celebration of Life/Service will follow in the Heritage Chapel at 7 p.m. Interment will be in Cornwall. In memoriam, donations in lieu of flowers to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
